McGreal Center Director and Staff

Janet Walsh, OP (Sinsinawa) formerly served at Dominican University as the Co-promoter of mission integration and holds a doctorate in American History. Janet is the Interim Director of the McGreal Center for Dominican Historical Studies.

"I see the Center continuing the work of Project OPUS and also providing the resources that facilitate other kinds of projects. Researchers will come to the McGreal Center to examine how various religious communities and individual members of the Dominican family influenced and shaped the intellectual, moral and social well being of the nation. The McGreal Center will also offer opportunities for historians of women’s history and social history particularly to do new research. The Center will hold materials that make international comparative studies of the Dominican family quite feasible."
