ADRIAN, MI --Sister Mary Elizabeth Beres, OP, 66, died on August 12, 2008, at her home in Clarkston, Georgia. She was in the 46th year of her religious profession in the Adrian Dominican Congregation. Mary-beth was the Chapter Prioress of the Mid-Atlantic Mission Chapter and member of DLC. READ MORE

Sister Mary Timothy McHatten, OP (Roman)

Scripture scholar and teacher Sr. Mary Timothy McHatten, OP (Roman) 76, died July 25 in Maine after a short illness. Since 1989 she had been a Professor of Scripture at Mount Angel Seminary and had made her home in St. Benedict, Oregon.
