Dominican Federation/Voices of Hope Planners Invite Dominican Artists to Submit Logo Design

January 22, 2007--Dominican artists and designers are invited to submit a logo design to be used fo rthe 2008 convocation of the Dominican Associates (Voices of Hope) and the Dominican Sisters, USA (Federation) convocation, a joint event to be held next year.

The Steering Committee began to reflect on the possible themes for the 2008 event, and wanted to connect with the theme for the 10-year-long celebration of the 800th Anniversary of the Dominican Order: Catching Fire from Dominic’s Vision.  The working theme is “Fire the Vision”. The group may be replacing the word Fire with Enflame or Ignite.

Planners want to commission a Dominican artist to design a logo for the 2008 convocation to be used on event folders, nametags, agenda, mailings, websites – anything that goes out to advertise the event and items used at the event.
