DLC Affiliates

The DLC may invite any Dominican organization or entity, with an established organizing structure, whose members represent more than one congregation or province, to affiliate with it.The purpose of affiliation is to foster communication among Dominican leadership of various entities, encourage networking and enhance mutual support and understanding. Affiliation includes receipt of regular DLC mailings and publications, representation at the United Nations through the DLC/NGO representative, the right to utilize the resources of the DLC national office, and the right to send representatives to the Annual Meeting.

Affiliate representatives attending the Annual Meeting do not have the right to vote or to be elected to office. They freely participate in open discussion at the Annual Meeting, are present for keynote speakers and for other reports. They may serve on committees as appointed by the Executive Committee. Annual dues will be set by the Executive Committee. (source: DLC bylaws 2.4)
