Sinsinawa Dominicans
Mother’s Day event scheduled for May 11

Sinsinawa Mound is hosting its 2013 Mother’s Day event, “I have become my mother,” on Saturday, May 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Every mother-daughter relationship is unique, but over time that relationship becomes a mystery which has universal implications. Grace emerges in the words, “I have become my mother!” The recognition of this truth brings laughter and tears as we listen to stories which remind us that it is, was, and always will be MOTHERS who hold us together.

Sister Ann Willits, OP, invites you to complete the gathering by your presence. Help us give whom you have become a moment of applause and gratitude. You mother will be pleased, and so will you.

Sister Ann was born and raised in Dubuque. She offers parish missions, pilgrimages, and retreats within the United States, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Spain, France and Italy.

The registration deadline is May 4, and the fee is $20. For more information or to register, call 608-748-4411 or visit www.sinsinawa.org. Sinsinawa Mound, the motherhouse for the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters, is located in southwest Wisconsin on County Road Z, off Highway 11, about five miles northeast of Dubuque, Iowa.
