We Eucharistic Missionaries of St. Dominic are inflamed by the passionate love of Christ who came "...to cast a fire on the earth," (Lk 12:49). We identify with the servants sent to “the highways and byways to compel people to come to the banquet.” (Luke 14:23)  

For 80 years we have sought out those on the margins of the church and world.  There we recognize and affirm God's presence in the joys and sorrows of daily life.  We invite all to feast at God’s Banquet of Love.

Our friends refer to us as “the EMDs.”  Some friends in Arizona remember us as “the White Sisters” because of the long white habits we wore years ago.

We are a diocesan congregation of Dominican Sisters affiliated with the Archdiocese of New Orleans.  Since Hurricane Katrina, our administrative offices are in St. Catharine, KY.
