Our Goals
Since 1984, the goals of the In Our Keeping Conference
remain constant:
- To convene Dominican women and men who are interested in research,
history and record-keeping pertaining to the Dominican Story
- To provide an opportunity for participants to
share experience, knowledge and uncertainties for mutual benefit.
- To strengthen our understanding of the relationship
of research, history and record keeping to the apostolic mission
of the order, present and future.
- To promote the development of a network of persons
who will support one another in research and encourage generous
mutual access to resources.
- To explore means for identifying persons and resources
for research and writing of the United States Dominican History
