St. Mary’s Dominican High School
Students, teachers join in celebration of Living Rosary

The Dominican High School community recently celebrated The Living Rosary in conjunction with Grandparents Day. Sponsored by the Drama Department, Christian Leadership Council and the Office of Dominican Catholic Identity, students acted out the Joyful Mysteries while mimes and narrators helped students and their grandparents apply those mysteries to everyday life.

The performances included song, dance and miming using interpretative movements to visually explain the mystery while 10 members of each grade level from the Christian Leadership Council represented a different decade of the Rosary. As a school community, students and teachers led the decade prayers in English, French, Latin and Spanish.

A reception followed in Alumnae Hall for students and their grandparents.

St. Mary’s Dominican High School is located in New Orleans, Louisiana. For more information, visit www.stmarysdominican.org
