Spirituality of Dominican leadership webcast is Dec. 11

One of the goals for Kaleidoscope is to foster leadership among its members. Though there will come a time when many of those involved in Kaleidoscope will need to discern elected leadership, the fostering of such leadership begins in the ways we accept such responsibility in other areas of our lives. In an effort to guide us in this direction, we are offering a day of reflection and conversation via webcast.

On Saturday, Dec. 11, Margaret Ormond, OP, prioress of the Dominican Sisters of Peace, will present “The Spirit of Dominican Leadership: Responding to the Call of Shared Responsibility." Margaret’s presentation will invite participants to explore and release our God-given gifts through the network of relationships that we know as the common good.

This webcast is sponsored by Kaleidoscope but open to participants of all ages. Though participants can take part in the webcast alone, all are encouraged to gather with other interested parties in a common location in order to share in the discussion on a local level. Gatherings have been set up in San Rafael (hosted by Sally Lowell and Patty Boss), New York (hosted by Barb Kane and Terry Rickard), New Orleans (hosted by Mary Jones), and Columbus (hosted by Kaleidoscope Standing Committee). If anyone is interested in hosting a group in your local area, please let us know, and we will be happy to publicize that information.
