Dominican Volunteers USA
Organization seeking new executive director

Dominican Volunteers USA is in search of a new executive director.

DVUSA is a national collaborative organization that recruits and places young adults as volunteers in full-time ministry. Volunteers work with marginalized populations while living in a community of Dominican sisters or friars.

The executive director manages the program, supervises and collaborates with a small staff, and reports to a national board of directors.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree, with some experience in non-profit administration
  • Demonstrated ability to secure funding, including grants, individual giving, and outreach
  • Strong leadership and management skills (including program, organization, finance, and marketing)
  • Experience fostering relationships with communities and groups
  • Forward thinking and interested in planning for program growth

The office is presently located in Chicago, Illinois; there is potential for flexibility in location. Some travel is required.

Salary commensurate with experience and skills. The new director should expect to begin work by early August.
